Richard A Johnson is a seasoned industry veteran with an impressive 36-year career in global real estate. He has led multifaceted investment, development and financing transactions across diverse real estate classes in major markets across Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
In addition to his role at Serakai, Richard is a Senior Advisor to CBC Group, a real estate life-sciences healthcare infrastructure platform, as well as advising Disruptive Capital, a European-based private equity firm focused on financial services, infrastructure and real estate.
Previously he was Global Head of Business Development for UBS Asset Management’s real assets private markets platform and had senior roles at CBRE, Jones Lang LaSalle and Standard Chartered / Istithmar.
Based in Zurich, Richard has held key governance roles as an independent director for a Singaporean REIT and as a board director for other listed property and hospitality companies.
Richard studied law at Oxford University (MA) before real estate and finance at City University, London (MSc).
He has been a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors since 1990.
