Hing Yin is a highly experienced property investor with 25+ years of experience in Greater China and global developed markets, in direct property investment, property research and valuations, corporate and tax advisory and macroeconomic research.
Prior to joining Serakai, Hing Yin was Senior Advisor to Grosvenor Asia between 2019-2022, supporting the company’s investment activities in mainland China. From 2010-2018, Hing Yin was a Senior Executive Director at Ping An Insurance where he led the firm’s outbound investment activities. During this time, Hing Yin was involved with as well as led direct property investments into core/core plus office, residential development, hotel mezz loans, logistics and indirect PERE funds in the UK and USA. Prior to Ping An, Hing Yin was Head of Consultancy and Research for Colliers, based in Shanghai.
Earlier in his career, Hing Yin served as an Economist with the Financial Secretary’s office of the Hong Kong SAR Government for a decade and prior to that was a consultant with Arthur Anderson.
Hing Yin has an MA in Economics and BA in Social Sciences from the University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of London.
