Gini is a seasoned property investment professional with over a decade of hands-on experience working for local, regional and international investment principals on their direct, joint-venture and indirect property investments in the PRC.
Prior to joining Serakai, Gini was Associate Director and a member of the Greater China investment team at Grosvenor Asia from 2015-2022. Based in Shanghai, she was responsible directing investment activity, ongoing JV and asset management and leading the local team. Supporting the head of Greater China, Gini led the consummation of the business’s first ever investment in Nanjing, which was also its first residential development project in China, as well as the consummation of two new joint-venture relationships, with Fosun and Shui On.
Gini was an Investment Manager with Shanghai Investment Group from 2014-2015 and was as an Analyst at CITIC Capital in Hong Kong from 2009-2012. In these roles she underwrote residential development projects and opportunistic investments in real estate fixed income and supporting new fund formation and capital raising initiatives.
Gini holds a Master of Philosophy in Real Estate Finance from the University of Cambridge and a bachelor’s degree from Washington University in Saint Louis, USA.
